BGA Launches New Website
The Better Government Association (BGA) has launched a new website, providing enhanced content for citizens who rely on the 83-year-old watchdog group for its investigations of waste, corruption and mismanagement in the public sector.
Visitors will find significantly more information about current and past BGA investigations into Illinois’ state and local governments. The website is designed to simplify research and communication, putting large quantities of BGA information online for quick reference. Further, whistleblowers can securely and anonymously contact BGA investigators with allegations of fraud or inefficiency in the public sector.
Working with a5 group, inc., a leading Chicago-based design firm, the redesigned website also includes public resources and tips to help citizens better understand how government works and serves them.
The BGA is committed to keeping the website fresh, current and relevant to its audience, while emphasizing the non-profit’s proud history. Additional archival information documenting the BGA’s eight decades of investigation and policy studies will also be online.
New BGA findings and news releases will also be available, making the site a destination for new watchers. Although the group partners with media outlets for many investigations, it is committed to making its message readily accessible through the website.
