Greetings!

Welcome to the April issue of BGA Watchdog Report, the Better Government Association's monthly electronic news brief.

Theater
The BGA is proud to unveil its new upgraded website. With ever more citizens using the Internet as a way to research and communicate, the BGA felt it was important to revamp its online resources to meet the communication needs of the 21st century.

The new site has improved navigation, better graphics and contains substantially more information about the BGA’s activities, and news events that deal with waste, corruption and inefficiency in state and local government in Illinois.

Aside from containing more information about the BGA, the website also has resources and tips to help average citizens understand how government works and give them guidance on how to find out more about how their government serves them.

A special thanks goes to a5 group, inc., the Chicago based design firm behind our new look.

The BGA is delighted to announce the addition of three outstanding individuals to its Board of Directors. Vic, Sheila and Mel, we welcome your enthusiasm and are honored to have you on board!!
