Amber Bel'Cher
Amber Bel'cher (she/her) joins the BGA from the Chicago Humanities Festival where she served as the Director of Development. A strategic and inclusive leader, she has over 17 years of fundraising experience and possesses a love for connecting people to their passion through philanthropic investment. Amber has deep experience as a front-line fundraiser and as a team leader who has managed complex campaigns, donor relations, board engagement, communications, CRM and data analytics, and prospect and pipeline development.
From funding literacy initiatives to raising $11.6 million in capital for a new education center, to galvanizing financial support for programs serving priority populations of children to a national organization dedicated to mentoring the next generation of women leaders, Amber is driven by a shared commitment to equity, access, and inclusion.
She holds an MFA from Roosevelt University and a BA from Texas A&M University. Originally from Dallas, you can expect Amber to share a "y'all" every now and then.
