This all day parent conference will include workshops on:

• Local School Council Overview
  
• BGA Education Watchdog Training

At the BGA Education Watchdog Training you’ll learn about:

• the governing structure of the Chicago Public Schools,
• school budgets, and
• how you can monitor what’s going on in your local schools.

BGA workshops will take place at 10:30a.m. and 1:00p.m.

Education experts will help you understand how schools operate and how budget decisions are made. If you want to understand what’s going on in your schools and you want to get involved, we’ll show you how.
