The deafening chorus of “No Cubs No” from, among others, Mayor Daley and Gov. Quinn (both Sox fans, for what that’s worth), forced Senate President John Cullerton, who was carrying Wrigley water for the Ricketts family, to temporarily delay consideration of their request to pay for the renovation with amusement and tourist taxes.
