The BGA’s recent revitalization and reorganization prompted a review of our branding and the effectiveness of our logos. We set out to create new logos last summer, selected a formidable and committed designer, and after a few iterations —and thanks to feedback from supporters like you—we found our new marks:

During our 88-year history, the BGA created a storied series of logos, but two ingredients are consistent throughout the decades: the proud use of our acronym, BGA, and an omnipresent bulldog, representing our tenacious pursuit of a government that’s honest, efficient, transparent and accountable.

We wanted our new logos to pay homage to and burnish the BGA’s legacy as investigators who shine a light on government, but also demonstrate our evolving mission of advocacy and citizen engagement.

We’re thrilled with our new logos, which we believe embody the BGA of 2011 and years to come.
