Impact Of The Impasse: The Ripple Effect On Our Community And Economy
Even if the Illinois General Assembly and the Governor reach a budget deal by May 31, there will still be a ripple effect of the year-long budget impasse and a tough road to fiscal viability. Our next BGA event in Springfield on June 20 will include a panel discussion offering firsthand accounts of the impact on health care, education, business, social services and the Springfield community in general.
